Course Description
Our KA1 Outdoor Learning Course is for teachers, school leaders and education staff who want to approach to the outdoor education model.
This introductory Erasmus+ teacher training course helps participants understand how outdoor environments can support student engagement, wellbeing, collaboration, curiosity, and meaningful curriculum-based outdoor learning across different subjects and school contexts.
The course is structured on the experiential learning cycle, enabling teachers to experience it first-hand while planning for their in-class application. You will be guided into planning practical outdoor learning activities that can be adapted for schoolyards, parks, urban spaces, and natural environments.
Our KA1 Outdoor Learning Course also focuses on safety and inclusion for outdoor education, basic risk awareness, group management, environmental responsibility, and ways to make teaching outside the classroom realistic for every school.
By the end of the course, participants will have gained confidence, practical ideas, and adaptable methods to introduce outdoor learning in their own educational settings.
