Diugital Tools and AI for arts and humanities teachers

Digital Tools and AI for Arts & Humanities Teachers

Course Description

Our course on how to use digital tools and AI in Humanities Education blends theory, ethics and hands-on practice, equipping you to transform your Humanities & Arts classroom. The course is designed for teachers across all levels of education and can be easily adapted to different subjects and classroom needs.

Throughout this course, you’ll discover how generative AI can revitalise history, literature, art and music lessons, while nurturing critical thinking and ethical AI use in education so that technology amplifies, not replaces, human creativity and learning.

Over five intensive days, you will explore ethical AI integration, learn prompt engineering for teachers, such as AI prompts for art and history lessons, and build multimodal content with AI image generation, for example for literature lessons and generative music tools for education. Furthermore, you will engage with digital storytelling tools for humanities, such as interactive timelines, history tools, virtual museum platforms for teachers. You will also explore gamification in humanities and arts education and collaborative learning platforms for your lessons. Consequently, you’ll return to your school with concrete lesson plans, ready‑to‑use resources and the confidence to lead innovation, using digital tools and AI in arts and humanities education.
