Erasmus+ teacher training course_Creative AI for Everyday Classroom Practice

Creative AI for Everyday Classroom Practice

Course Description

This highly practical course is designed for educators who want to move beyond text-based AI and harness the power of visual media. Teachers will learn how to create and adapt AI-generated images and short videos to make complex explanations clearer, lessons more visual, and student tasks significantly more engaging across any subject area.

The course is suitable for all educators and will be adapted to specific needs and school types, from primary to secondary and VET.

In the first part, the content provides a comprehensive overview of AI visual tools for education, including image generators, graphic tools, and slide creators. You will master the art of "prompting for images," learning to create custom diagrams, scenes, icons, and concept visuals that match your specific curriculum topics perfectly.

In the second part, the focus shifts to AI video tools. Teachers will explore how to turn scripts or lesson notes into polished explainer videos complete with narration and subtitles. We will cover the creation of "micro-videos" for flipped learning and homework support, as well as specific classroom activities like visual thinking routines. Crucially, the program addresses ethics and media literacy, teaching educators how to navigate the world of deepfakes and critical viewing of AI media.
