Practical English Communication Course – Intermediate

Course Description

This English communication course for teachers is designed to help educators enhance their speaking and listening abilities while developing confidence in real-life interactions. The course is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) at B1 - B2 levels, ensuring that participants develop intermediate-level skills aligned with international language standards.

Differently from our "English Language Course – Intermediate", this course emphasises practical communication strategies, including managing conversation gaps, expressing opinions, and participating in discussions. Through structured practice and reflection, teachers will strengthen their functional English for both professional and everyday contexts.

Our English communication course for teachers is eligible as an Erasmus+ English teacher training course. It is suitable for all educators, as it will be adapted to specific needs and school types, from primary to secondary and VET.

Participants will explore strategies to overcome language anxiety, improve fluency, and use grammar and vocabulary effectively in social and professional interactions. Real-life communication scenarios, role-plays, and problem-solving activities provide a context for practising English in realistic situations. The course also introduces digital tools and resources to support ongoing development and self-directed practice beyond the classroom. By focusing on both accuracy and clarity, teachers will leave with skills that are immediately applicable in educational settings and outside the classroom.
