Summer Creative AI for Everyday Classroom Practice with Irish Cultural Enrichment

Summer Creative AI for Everyday Classroom Practice with Irish Cultural Enrichment

Course Description

This summer creative AI advanced course empowers teachers to move beyond text‑based AI and harness AI‑generated images and videos. Participants explore image generators, graphic design tools and slide creators, learning to craft diagrams, scenes and icons aligned with curriculum topics. The course then shifts to AI video tools, teaching how to turn scripts into explainer videos and micro‑videos for flipped learning. Classroom activities involve visual thinking routines, picture‑talks and error‑spotting exercises. The course also addresses ethics and media literacy, including critical viewing of AI‑generated media and strategies to navigate deepfakes. Cultural experiences inspire creative projects: visits to galleries and cultural institutions provide visual themes and context for participants’ AI‑generated materials.
