Course Description

Our perplexity course for educators is focused on learning how to use AI ethically and critically for research and information discovery.

Perplexity offers educators an AI-enhanced research environment that combines conversational interaction with live information retrieval and source-supported responses. This course introduces teachers, trainers, and academic professionals to practical ways Perplexity can support research, fact-checking, lesson preparation, content discovery, and educational inquiry.

Participants will explore how Perplexity can accelerate information gathering, improve topic exploration, support classroom preparation, and enhance professional research workflows while maintaining critical evaluation skills.

The course also examines responsible use, source reliability, misinformation risks, and ethical integration of AI-supported research tools in education.

This perplexity course for educators is suitable for all teachers and non-teaching staff, as it will be adapted to their needs and school type (primary, secondary, VET).

Assessment and Certificates

Assessment of performance will be through delegate-completed portfolio of work. The final course certification for successful completion is a college-issued “Course Certificate of Completion”, for each module studied. In addition, where applicable, delegates will receive relevant EuroPass certificates.
