HESL is preparing to offer teacher training courses in London for schools and education organisations planning Erasmus+ KA1 staff mobility from 2027.
The UK’s return to Erasmus+ is expected to create new opportunities for teachers, school leaders and education staff to take part in professional development in the UK. Until the final 2027 programme guidance is published, our London courses are listed as a planned option, not as a confirmed 2026 Erasmus+ destination.
Why London?
London is one of Europe’s most diverse education cities. It offers an exceptional setting for professional development in language learning, inclusion, digital education, AI, cultural learning, classroom practice and school innovation.
Our London courses will focus on active learning, international exchange and clear learning outcomes.
They will follow the structure expected for Erasmus+ KA1 staff mobility courses, including defined objectives, practical activities, participant interaction and post-course documentation.

Important Erasmus+ eligibility note
London courses are planned from 2027, subject to the final Erasmus+ 2027 programme rules and the sending organisation’s approved project. This is why we will confirm our teacher training courses in London when the EU commission publishes the relevant guidance.
For 2026 Erasmus+ mobility, teachers, educators and education staff can continue to choose our confirmed courses in Ireland.
