Course Description

Our AI for game-based learning teacher training help educators face one of the main modern educational challenges: creating dynamic learning environments that grab student’s attention.

Game-based learning techniques have proven to be effective in increasing student engagement and learning in class both in primary and in secondary schools. However, student’s constant exposure to technology demands the use of digital tools in class, while the teacher's workload is increasing. This course is a valuable professional development opportunity, empowering educators to both captivate students and optimise their valuable time in the classroom.

The course includes a deep dive into game-based learning (GBL), exploring how this methodology can be seamlessly integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and essential ICT tools for educational games. Participants will gain practical expertise in designing educational games to the lesson units, leading to student engagement. By mastering AI-driven approaches, you will learn to reduce your teacher workload with AI tools through intelligent content creation and adaptive learning design, thus fostering a more personalised and effective learning experience for every student.

The course is suitable for all educators, as it will be adapted to their needs and school type (early childhood, primary, secondary, VET).

Assessment and Certificates

Assessment of performance will be through delegate-completed portfolio of work. The final course certification for successful completion is a college-issued “Course Certificate of Completion”, for each module studied. In addition, where applicable, delegates will receive relevant EuroPass certificates.
