Course Description
Our Erasmus+ training course helps educators create inclusive and accessible learning materials, multimodal and relevant to different learning needs within the same classroom.
Content can create avoidable barriers that prevent learners from learning or showing understanding. As our classrooms become more and more varied in terms of skills and prior knowledge, teachers are asked to invest in personalised learning paths for their students. The course addresses this current educational challenge and the time-consuming tasks of teachers.
Participants will first review the language, complexity, structure, format, representation and accessibility of existing teaching resources across subjects and age groups.
The course will then guide participants in putting into practice concepts of multimodal learning, culturally responsive teaching and differentiation, using AI to create a classroom-ready lesson content and a practical checklist for adjusting future materials.
The course is suitable for primary, secondary and vocational teachers, special education staff, and adult education staff seeking Erasmus+ training in accessible content.
The training is workshop-based and participants are encouraged to bring real resources from their own subjects whenever possible. This approach allows teachers to compare the original and revised materials and explain how each design choice reduces a specific barrier.
