We had an exciting time at the first project partner meeting of our new Erasmus+ youth project “Youth D.R.A.M.A”! We met our great partners from Germany, Greece, Portugal, Romania and Turkey on the 25th and 26th of October in Constanta to kickstart the planning of new project activities on digital citizenship for youth and youth workers.
About the project
Youth D.R.A.M.A. is a KA220 youth project designed to strengthen the digital resilience and creative capacities of young people and youth workers. The project introduces an innovative youth work methodology that merges theatre techniques with digital practices to empower youth workers in addressing digital citizenship, media literacy, and online well-being among youth from ethnic minority backgrounds in Germany, Ireland, Greece, Portugal, Romania and Turkey. Partners will develop a “Youth Worker Methodology Training Programme” and a ”Youth Worker Toolkit to Combat Digital Hate, Build Empathy and Digital Resilience”, alongside youth-led performance videos, digital campaigns, and a dedicated project website.

Day 1 – 25th October
The first meeting day started with partners introducing their organisations and field of work.
It was a pleasure to reconnect with the experienced team behind the successful ONSTAGE project, as well as to welcome new partners bringing complementary skills and fresh perspectives.
We also spent time together visiting Constanta and eating delicious local food.

Day 2 – 26th October
On the second day, we reviewed the upcoming project activities and partners’ roles, consolidating the project’s objectives and expected results.
We then moved on to discussing the creation of the first project output, the “Youth Worker Methodology Training Programme”, which will integrate theatre techniques with digital practices centred on the theme of digital citizenship for youth.
We also set dates for the first mobility of the project. It will be a pilot youth worker training taking place in Portugal from the 19th to the 24th January 2026.
We ended the meeting with an exchange of good practices and a plan for dissemination and project visibility.

The meeting helped us set the groundwork for the project’s success! We look forward to organising the project’s planned activities and creating an innovative training material for youth workers!
