‘Youth D.R.A.M.A.’ Project Approved!

We are excited to announce that our new Erasmus+ project ‘Youth D.R.A.M.A. – Youth Digital Resilience, Advocacy and Media Awareness’ has been officially approved! We are especially proud of this project, as it builds on the success of our ONSTAGE youth project, expanding its focus from civic engagement to digital citizenship.

About the Project

Youth D.R.A.M.A. is a KA220 youth project aiming at strengthening the digital resilience and creative capacities of young people and youth workers. The project introduces an innovative youth work methodology that merges theatre techniques with digital practices to empower youth workers in addressing digital citizenship, media literacy, and online well-being among youth from ethnic minority backgrounds.

Aims and Objectives

Youth D.R.A.M.A. aims to strengthen the digital resilience of young people, promote positive digital citizenship, and enhance media literacy and critical thinking. The project also aims to pilot an innovative youth work methodology that combines digital practices, participatory strategies, and theatre techniques to better support and include marginalised youth.

Project Activities

The project includes a combination of local, international and online activities. Youth workers will receive training in Portugal and at a local level to learn new digital and theatre-based methods, while young people will travel to Germany, take part in local workshops and attend online activities designed to boost their digital skills and resilience. Partners will also host online webinars throughout the project and final multipliers event to share results.

Project Results

As part of the project, useful free resources will be created. Partners will create a “Youth Worker Methodology Training Programme”, a ”Youth Worker Toolkit to Combat Digital Hate, Build Empathy and Digital Resilience” and a dedicated project website. Young people will be guided in the creation of performance videos and digital campaigns on the porject’s topics.
